If Tata Motors delivers on its promise, the world’s first commercial air-powered automobile will be a reality, in the words of company spokespeople, “sooner rather than later.”

re: India Air Powered Car to Feature Zero Emissions

2 dollars US to fill up...I'd like one of those for sure! Hopefully their technology can be improved in the US and Canada and we can all be driving air powered cars in the future. Would love to hear what the warranty is for it. I have my doubts that it would be able to survive even one Canadian winter!

re: India Air Powered Car to Feature Zero Emissions

I am sorry to have to say this, but the information about the air cars here in this article is partly wrong. The air cars shown and mentioned are developed and made by the French company MDI, not by Tata. Tata plans to sell one of its own models (the Nano) with a compressed air engine from MDI.

The picture of the minivan is of an old testing prototype that will never be sold in this version.

Please have a look at my site htpp://www.aircars.tk
